How our clinical team operates

How our clinical team works together

Pink's pigmentation and anti-ageing protocols are designed by our clinical team, led by Porsha, our founding Senior Dermal Clinician. She is the voice the approach was built around. Porsha set the benchmark the clinic opened on, and she still directs how those protocols evolve as new evidence lands and new devices come through.

Consultations for pigmentation and anti-ageing are designed by Stephy, our Dermal Therapist and Multi-Modality Laser Specialist. She sets out what a consultation covers, what gets examined, and what a treatment plan needs to account for. Most clients meet Stephy at that first visit. From time to time, your first visit will be with one of our other clinicians instead. The framework is the same either way, because it is the same framework, designed by the same person.

Treatments are delivered by our team. Our clinicians discuss your progress together between sessions and refine the plan as your skin responds. Every follow-up is also a review. We walk you through the changes we can see, the changes we are watching for, and what the next session is designed to do.

Porsha, founding Senior Dermal Clinician at Pink Laser Clinics

Porsha, our founding Senior Dermal Clinician

Porsha is the founder of Pink and our Senior Dermal Clinician. She holds a Bachelor of Dermal Science from Victoria University and has practised in laser dermal therapy since 2014. The pigmentation and anti-ageing protocols Pink runs today were designed by Porsha with the rest of our clinical team, and she still directs where they go next as the field moves and new devices come through.

If you treat with us, you may not sit with Porsha at consultation, but the plan you're following is hers. Her work is the framework itself: the protocols our clinicians use, the standards every consultation is held to, and the design call behind why we choose one device over another for your skin. When a clinical decision is hard to make, she's the reference the team turns back to.

Porsha is the clinical voice the clinic was built around. Her eye sits in every plan the team delivers, even when she isn't in the room. If you treat at Pink long enough, you'll cross paths with her, and most clients eventually do.

Stephy, our Dermal Therapist and Multi-Modality Laser Specialist

Stephy is the clinician most clients meet first. She leads consultations and treatment planning for Pink's pigmentation and anti-ageing program, with over ten years of clinical experience in laser and skin treatment, and consults in English and Mandarin. Her formal title is Dermal Therapist and Multi-Modality Laser Specialist, and the multi-modality part is the working detail: she draws from the full device stack, because the same laser doesn't suit every skin or every condition.

Stephy designs how a Pink consultation runs: what gets examined, what gets asked, and how a treatment plan is built from that conversation. For pigmentation, her planning covers device choice, wavelength, and session pacing across Fitzpatrick IV to VI. For anti-ageing, it covers Fotona 4D and SmoothEye. Case by case, she decides whether to proceed, to prep the skin first, or to hold off until your skin is ready. Saying not yet is part of the job.

Most pigmentation and anti-ageing consultations at Pink are with Stephy. Your treatment may be delivered by Stephy or by another trained clinician on our team, working to the plan she's set. Between sessions, the team reviews how your skin is responding. Stephy stays close to every case she has planned, and adjusts the pathway when your skin tells her to.

The approach

What sits behind your treatment

Protocols designed by our team, led by Porsha

Pink's pigmentation and anti-ageing protocols are designed by our clinical team, led by Porsha, our founding Senior Dermal Clinician. She set the benchmark the clinic opened on and directs how those protocols evolve. Our clinicians contribute the daily read of how skin responds to the work, which is how the framework keeps moving forward rather than settling into habit. What your clinician works from in the room is the current version of Pink's thinking, held to the standards Porsha built.

One plan, followed by the team

Your treatment plan is designed at consultation, most often by Stephy, and the team then follows it. Between sessions, our clinicians discuss how your skin is responding and adjust the pathway as needed. You do not re-explain your plan at every visit, and you do not wait for the next clinician to catch up on your history. Continuity is part of the treatment itself, not a nice-to-have around it.

A specialty in darker skin

Pink's pigmentation protocols were built with Fitzpatrick skin types IV to VI in the primary design, not added on afterwards. This is the skin that responds least forgivingly to the wrong device, the wrong wavelength, or the wrong pace. Stephy's multi-modality specialty sits at the centre of how the clinic handles darker skin. Our team is trained on the same protocols, and we consult in English, Mandarin, and Persian.

Philosophy

Why we work this way

Skin doesn't reward shortcuts. A pigmentation concern mishandled once is harder to correct the second time, and the cost of getting it wrong falls on you. We work the way we do because of that. Protocols that are thought through. Plans that are held to. A team that talks to each other between your sessions, so whoever is in the room with you knows what the clinician before them saw. That continuity is the treatment, as much as the laser is.

Next step

Start with a consultation

Complimentary, unhurried, and honest about what your skin needs.

A few things people ask

Who will I see on the day?

We have a dedicated front desk team, trained to pair you with the right clinician for the right moment of your treatment. That decision is made by us, on clinical grounds, because we want the best possible result for your skin. The trust at Pink belongs to Pink, not to any one name on our team. Whoever you see has been chosen for your treatment, and they're working to the same plan.

Can I request a specific clinician?

We get asked this often, and the honest answer is mostly no, with a few exceptions. The clinician who's right for your treatment on a given day depends on the device, your stage in the course, and who's done your prior session. We all work to the same plan, so the clinician in front of you is the one whose hands suit what your skin needs that visit. The exceptions: if a language preference matters, let us know when you book and we'll honour it.

Will the same clinician see me through my course?

Often, yes. The clinician who plans your course stays close to it, especially for pigmentation and anti-ageing where the response builds session by session. Some treatments are shared across the team, but the plan stays the same, the notes are read before each visit, and your last session's response shapes the next one. Continuity sits in the plan, not just in who delivers a single session.

Does Porsha see clients?

From time to time, yes. Porsha doesn't lead consultations, but if you treat at Pink for any length of time, you'll meet her sooner or later. Her work is in every plan the team delivers, whether or not she's the clinician in the room with you.

What languages do you speak at the clinic?

Between us, the team speaks English, Mandarin, and Persian. If one of those would be easier for you, tell us when you book and we'll pair you with the clinician who can speak with you in that language.

Is the consultation free?

Yes, our consultations are complimentary. We sit down, take the time we need, and tell you honestly what your skin calls for. That might be a treatment plan, a bit of prep first, or waiting a little longer before we do anything at all.

Do I need a referral?

No. You can book directly with us, either online or by phone.

Do you treat Melasma?

Yes, and Melasma is one of the conditions our work is built around. We treat it with the Signature Melasma Protocol Porsha and the team designed, and most pigmentation consultations are with Stephy. If Melasma is what you're dealing with, you're at the right clinic.
